Ronald "Ron" Kyer, Sr.
Ronald "Ron" Paul Kyer, Sr., 55, of Worthington passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Weston on March 18, 1962 a son of the late General Smith Kyer and Mary J. (Burkhammer) Kyer.
Ronald was an excellent carpenter and a member of the Iron Workers Union. He loved life, enjoyed riding his four- wheeler and hunting. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends.
Ron is survived by his loving wife and Soul mate of 24 years, Lisa Kyer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Michael, Ronald, David and Joseph; his daughters, Jaymie, Sarah, April, and his long-time special friends, Missy and Sandra and many more.
Also surviving are his brothers, Joseph and William "Hoppy" and his sisters, Sharon, Nancy, Marty, Alma, Jackie and Kellie, including several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles "Bub" and Michael and his sister, Shirley.
Friends and family may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont on Thursday from 10am to 2pm. The funeral service will be at 2pm on Thursday. May 11, 2017 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Sions officiating. Interment will follow at the Henry Cemetery in Weston, Lewis County.
