Juanita Elizabeth Springer (Andrick), 97 was born on October 5, 1919 in Marion County, WV, passed on to be with our Lord on August 19, 2017. Daughter of Virgil C. Andrick and Ethel L. (Kittle) Andrick. Her husband, Robert E. Springer, one brother, Stanley Andrick and a sister, Edith V. Andrick (Rich) preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Laurel Springer, Resident of the Genesis Healthcare Tygart Center and brother-in-law, Harold Springer of Fairmont, VW There were no grandchildren.
Surviving are four nieces, three nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her best friend and neighbor of fifty years, Mary Kisner and entire family as well as neighborhood friends.
Juanita was a great example of the " West Virginia Woman". Full of spunk, gentle and kind, always ready to help her family and friends when in need. She was a beautiful seamstress and homemaker. Juanita loved to read and write letters to her loved ones. She was also devoted to God and lived by her convictions. Her strength and wisdom were unfaltering. We have lost a great lady. My aunt will be greatly missed and remembered for her love and unbelievable kindness shared with her niece, Carla Newell and husband, Ted Newell ( Fairmont, WV), great nephew, Jeff Chrissikos (Auburn, IN) and great niece, Jodi (Chrissikos) Detamore (Fort Mill, SC).
She always looked forward to visits from her extended family. A special "thank you' to Sharon Mehaulic, the entire staff at Wishing Well Assisted Living and Pierpont Center for their love and support in this difficult transition. My aunt struggled most of her life with severe hearing loss. Maybe now she can hear the angels singing. Her final wishes were to have no viewing or services. Following cremation, interment will be at Mount Zion Cemetery Marion County, West Virginia where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Robert E. Springer.
Rest in peace auntie. We all love you,
Family of Carla and Ted Newell and Springer Family
